After completing my illustration of The Spoon Trade, I couldn't help but think about my other favorite spoon restaurant, Spoon By H.
I remember the lovely and kind Chef-owner Yoonjin and her beautifully prepared food, drinks, and desserts, which always made my day brighter. Every meal was so delicious and fresh. I still think about the Spam Fried Rice (full of flavor and kimchi) and the Pork Belly Dumpling Soup - as well as the gorgeous sweets including the Mango Shaved Ice, and the most refreshing Watermelon Juice (with heart shaped ice cubes!) I've ever had.
The original Spoon by H space on Beverly Blvd. has unfortunately since closed, but Chef Yoonjin continues the Spoon By H legacy through private dining experiences, which I hope to enjoy one day.

Hand Drawn Restaurants artwork prints are limited to an edition of 100. Each print arrives numbered and signed by April Canlas Eddy, and is accompanied by a corresponding Hand Drawn Restaurants Certificate of Authenticity.

All artwork is printed on 250gsm white card stock and set onto a white 12” x 12” square mat with a 2” border. The printed artwork is displayed through an 8” x 8” opening.

Framed artwork is carefully placed into a wood gallery frame with a ¾” thick border. The matted artwork is protected with premium clear plexiglass and sealed with framing tape.
